What is there that DOESN’T make him an extension of George Bush???  This guy has broken most of the campaign promises that people voted him in for and yet THIS TIME he’s being honest.  

I don’t trust a word this man says and yes I’m black…

The other thing folks must also seriously consider are the costs of “standing up and speaking out”. They always come at toll.

Ashwini- Very good point on people of color and xenophobia, which is particularly complicated by the by in large acceptance of Obama among African-American folks, which has a layer of “he's different” under (or over) it. The question of deserving is one that's central to resources doled out, but I'm not sure if it fully connects to the birthers issues. I'm open to it connecting but me just not being able to see the connections right now.
