I came before Jesus. Ok – first, ’08 is a little early for us to be back pickin cotton. I’m thinking more like 2015. Baby steps Dumi – we’ll be ridin in the back of buses first. Second, I have a Steve and Barry’s Michigan T-shirt for every day of the week for like 3 weeks straight. I think that if they are unionized – we are free to continue to buy the $4.95 shirts. I’d like to believe that its just cheap cotton and not bad business practices. Ignorance is truly bliss (although – I DID stop shopping at Wal-mart). Lastly – I give you an oscar for this post – you just updated us on the last month – great job. Try not to go so long without a post next time.
Oh wait – I wanted to comment on Gordon Parks – he inspired me to use my camera to tell stories about people. Although my pictures are no where near as deep and telling as his – he is inspiration. He will be missed. We’ve seen a lot of history through that man’s photography and writings.
I was just itching to contribute a comment to someone else’s blog. :)
