another issue with this piece is that nisbett is picking and choosing studies to make his case, irregardless of how authentic or reliable the studies may be. for example, there are tons of studies out there right now on the “obama effect” and the effectiveness of head start program… but as a professor in academia, you'd think he'd attempt to show the weight of the studies he's chosen by giving us their institutional info or some descriptive to sell his case right. but nothing.
