And for the person who wrote ” I am H.A.I.T.I.”– That's the painful reality of human nature, sometimes we only become conscious of other's pain, when the pain becomes absolutely unbearable. Right now, Haiti is going through a unbearable kind of pain. And you are warranted in all you say and your feelings are valid, but on the flipside, I am absolutely grateful that the world has finally woken up…Better late than never; I am a true believe of that.

Without a doubt, we as a people of Haiti, have been stripped of many things including our dignity as you say, and I am not saying it's time to put it behind us, I'm just saying it's time to put it beside ourselves (for now), and look at the bigger picture…which is to get all the help we can get…because if we could of done it ourselves, it would of already been done..clearly we can't.

To me, for now, the natural resources that were stolen from our people is irrelevent at this time, it's the least of our concerns, I'm just thinking of the basic needs that need to be met.
