Agree completely with this post. MJ was also revolutionary in his gender presentation and challenges to heteronormativity. Having a vocal range that most women would find unattainable, wearing heavy makeup and sculpted eyebrows, at once appearing slender and lithe and simultaneously strong and dominant in his performances, he (along with Prince, although now he's another story) seriously flipped the switch on what popular audiences were willing to accept from their Black pop stars in the '80s. He will be emulated and revered by queens, kings, and all other queer royalty for decades to come!

I think Michael Jackson wanted Whiteness and White Privilege so badly that he tried to buy it for him self. He did it with Science and Medicine. He recreated his Image. It's no accident that his 3 kids were not made the natural way but engineered and have no connection to his own DNA. He loved Blacks only in the sense of them promoting his career (he never showed up at BET Awards night). It's said that when he spoke of Blacks in private it was as an insult.
