The cast this year was way too annoying. Nehemiah and Wes, the dynamic duo were two of the worst although Johanna (sp?) could give them a run for their money. The show needs to get some more normal folks, not a bunch of drunks.

And RW Royal Oak, that would be terrible. Every other place the people live in the city itself, but I guess Detroit is too Black, too poor, and too square for MTV. I would be great to have RW Detroit, but let's have it in Detroit, not Ferndale, Royal Oak, or whatever suburban town they pick. I guess they are afraid to put those White folks downtown--it's neither hip enough nor white enough.

In response to the "RW: Royal Oak" Rumors, the sickest part of it is that I've heard it's going to be called "Real World: Detroit." Yes, let's pretend that Royal Oak, separated from the city by (depending on the direction) as many as 3 other autonomous cities) is what Detroit really looks like. Maybe that will "help the city's image?" Kinda gross, I think...

I usually avoid reality tv because I can have much more fun losing brain cells by doing constructive things like snorting sawdust that's been paint thinner. Lucky me, my local Home Depot was on to my cheap high so had to go visit a lady friend lady friend who happens to be addicted (Bobby Bouche's mom was right. Girls are for the devil.) I sat there pretending not to be wishing I had asked for her girlfriend's number the night I met her as the show of concern played out. I loved it when Wes openly admitted that since Nehemiah wanted to make videos for a liviing, he was more than willing to use that as leverage to get him to do all the work. His complete lack of work ethic and occupational integrity was so disgusting it was almost comical. His drunken escapades in the house only further pissed me off . He slapped a girl. Drunk or not, he should have been kicked out. Isn't this the same show that kicked a brother out because he partially exposed a female roommate when he snatched the sheets off her bed? Didn't one of the previous cast get into a fight outside a bar where he suffered eye injuries that required surgery? MTV can eat a big bag phallic freetos. If I wanted to see crap where the brother does all the work while a bunch of inept, amoral white folks sit around passing judgement as they watch him, I would just play back Colin Powell's stint in the current Bush Administration.
