I was told by a wise woman when I was very young and naive that if the NYC education system was reconstructed to properly educate our children, who would be left to push the garment trucks downtown?  I&#039;m not sure what the modern equivalent is - maybe who would be left to fill our prisons?  Ensuring miseducation has a very real purpose social and economic purpose.  Now that&#039;s pessimism.]]></description>
